Having had a previous retail boutique, we found it lacked quality, individuality, timeless options and classic appeal to find for our customers.  With us having creative minds, hands and ideas, this now allows us to bring all of our talents and passions together in one place. From custom wood projects, restoring a vintage piece, or totally re-envisioning a new use or look from an old furniture piece to live on in your home, really brings an excitement to the treasure hunt! While you will also find some NEW items in our shop, we hope everyone will find something they will love!

 

  We have a passion for vintage and antique items and keeping history alive. I love finding long forgotten items that need a little love. While some may need some deep cleaning or polishing to bring them back to their original beauty,  some items may have damage or be beyond restoring and we love to get creative and salvage these to use in other ways

so they can be loved once again by new owners.

 

We find items at estate sales auctions, flea markets, garage sales, or anywhere else we can find great items from the past. I will spend hours carefully cleaning and polishing beautiful silver, or restoring a neglected item just so that it is the best for my customers.

 

Most vintage and antique items aren’t made anymore. That’s what makes them so unique and special. A gorgeous silver tray, bowl or serving set can add simplistic elegance to your home or office. Some vintage items can bring so much nostalgia. I want everyone that buys from The Cozy Cottage Shop to be as happy with their unique hand-picked items as we were when we found them.

 

The majority of the items in our shop are vintage or antique, e.g., have been used. Vintage and antique items by their very nature have some wear, imperfections, and signs of age and time. This is what gives them their character, charm, and collectability. Please examine the photos carefully for any flaws, imperfections that may not be what you are looking for.

We do always try our best to include these in the item’s description. Also, please feel free to message for more photos, details and questions regarding any of our items.

 

All items we collect get sanitized, cleaned, laundered ( if possible). Items such as bags and footwear undergo cleaning with proper earth friendly products and leather conditioners to

insure your products arrive to you in the best condition possible.

 

All fragile and glass items will be impeccably wrapped and secure so they arrive safe and in tact to your home!
